eew. don’t get me wrong, i love KC, LOVE IT. i live in the chicago metro area and enjoy the restaurants, nightlife and shopping KC has to offer when i’m spending tim at my “home away from home”. i HATED moonlight sushi - there is no “bar” save for a “sushi bar” where you can’t even really see them maknig your food. there is no music, no “lighting” and NO GOOD SUSHI. i had an over-priced, underwhelming “spicy crab salad” ($7.95) and a glass of “red” wine (I asked for pino and the only had merlot). no one checked on me, no one asked how my food was (I would have complained), so I ate part of my “salad”, drank my wine and left with a horrible taste in my mouth for sushi in KC. if you’re a true sushi lover, don’t waste your time visiting moonlight.
