With an empty table next to us, an employee (perhaps the owner?) asked us to leave so that other customers could come in. I had finished my coffee about 10 mins prior and my friend still had half a large beer left to drink. He said that he “needed to make money” so would we understand if he asked us to leave so other people could sit down? There was an EMPTY table next to us. My father has successfully run a restaurant for over 25 years. Why? Because he treats every customer like he’s THRILLED that they are there and that he HATES to see them leave. He makes sure that people WANT to return. I will never set foot in that place again on matter of principle
