Where to begin…so I gave this restaurant a chance despite never hearing one good thing about it, and they lived up to their bad rep and I’m not talking about the food. The service was so lacking on a slow Sunday night, where only 5 tables were occupied(in the entire place).
Sitting outside on the patio our server passed by twice before stopping to take an order or say hello, had to ask for water twice, I had my food a full 5 minutes before getting set-ups which I had to ask for twice(i see a theme here)…can’t eat the food without utensils and if that’s not bad enough, we were wondering if there was any alcohol in our $9 drinks. OK…lesson learned until the next day when i logged on to my bank to find they had charged my acct twice, when I called to inquire, I talked to a very snotty ‘manager’ who told me that was standard, that there is a pre-charge which would eventually drop off my acct(US Bank has never heard of this). So my account is being held hostage for $65 when I spent $32, which still hasn’t dropped off by day 3. I’m pretty sure my card was swiped for someone else’s tab but Aileen assures me this is not the case.
A very very disappointing outcome to what was supposed to be a great night out with some girls…we managed to salvage the evening but only after we left Raglan Road!!!
Update: My bank called and found out they have charged my card for someone else’s food…now how long till they figure this mess out?
