Horrible bar service. There were two bartenders on a Friday night, and the big guy looked drunk or drugged. Didn’t know how to make a vodka / tonic (and yes, I’m even willing to give a break to a bartender that doesn’t realize you need a lime in there otherwise it isn’t the same drink). He obviously couldn’t keep track of what he was doing. I just gave up and didn’t buy a drink. Not really the kind of thing you expect from a place trying to build up some business. The DJ on a Friday night a couple of weeks ago was almost good, but not really.

I read a lot of funny Yelp reviews from Kansas City. Typically the ones that are the best are the ones where someone has an axe to grind because they got bad service, food etc. The people who leave these reviews almost always only write the one review and are never heard from again.
